Here's what's been happening.......
Cole has had so much fun that he get's so sleepy he falls asleep at the computer with his pants undone. I wonder if he was getting ready to go to the bathroom or just returned.
We go down to the corrals some times to visit the yearling horses, there were some cows on this day too. Ty thought they were pretty cool.
Ty watching the young horses, this mama horse is keeping a watch on him.
Come here baby horsey.
Getting curious about that little thing on the other side of the fence.

Sniff....Sniff....

OK, maybe not that close...
This was my favorite, it's like friends standing there trying to make something out of what they are seeing. lol
A couple weeks ago we went out to watch Sheridan his brother and dad doctor some calves. Not new one's there about a year old I think. It's like giving them there immunization shots. Once calf had gotten his leg caught in some wire, so fair warning the following picture is a little nasty but my camera was on the fritz AGAIN and they are blurry too so it helps the stomach. They cut the wire off and shot it full of penicillin.

This is what Cole does if he finds a rope. Although this one was tied to the poor calf that was getting the wire cut off it's foot.
OK, moving on.
HALLOWEEN TIME!!!
We started gutting one of the pumpkins and found out it was about 3 inches thick, so we decided to draw on them this year instead. I think sometimes this is better any way.

We found this cute little double pumpkin that looked like a little bum so we bought it for Ty. He was asleep when all the action was happening.
The girls had their carnival during school the day before Halloween. I was unable to go because they didn't want other little one's running around and if you went they needed your help. So kind of a bummer but kind of nice also. It was free so that's a big plus!! Here are the girls that day they had their faces painted and wanted to take a picture on grandpa's tractor.
On Halloween everyone was able to sleep in, well at least the kids and I. The girls didn't have school that day, the district had made it a teacher work day or something. So we started our day with a Halloween breakfast: Jack-o-lantern pancakes with choc. chips, orange buttermilk syrup (I ruined my mother-in-laws glass cook top doing that one, long story and a lot of tears but we are replacing it after we move out.) ....and orange milk. The kids thought it was great!! The rest of the day they just played outside with each other.
That night the town has trick or treating at all the local business's so you just walk up and down main street. It was really nice, everyone was very friendly.
And here are all our cute kids. Gracie a Pirate, Madeline a Cheetah Girl, Cole Spider Man of course and Ty our little Monkey Boy, (this was so fitting because I call him our little skinny monkey baby all the time)

Cute cute pics of the kids! Anxious to hear the stove top story!
Oh tor, i feel so bad about the stove.... the pics of the horses are fun! Your kids are so cute! Is your phone a new number?
Hey Torrie! I AM A PHONE CALL AWAY if you are feeling lonely. I am still going through some withdrawl issues myself, so please don't hesitate to pick up the phone for a good cry and chat!!!And I'll stop reading my Twilight books so I can listen more closely to the spirit whisper that my friend is feeling lonely and that I need to call her.
Anyway after all of that I actually have been thinking of you guys at the in-laws and I'm so sorry about the stove. Oh well just think about it as one more drop in the "things that are kind of crappy about our life right now" bucket!
And then you can think of how much your little guys love to go and hang out with the horses and with their grandpa and then you can put a drop in your "things about our life that are really great" bucket.
I know exactly how you feel. Some days are good, some are just not.
But hang in there and I'm really just a phone call away.
ANYWAY afte my little discourse there it was so fun seeing the pictures of your boys by the horses. They are going to be the new Men From Snowy River someday.
And a huge shout out to whoever drew that truck on Cole's pumpkin. That was pretty darn good! Talk to you soon, I promise!!
HA! Ok, the picture of all the horses lined up looking at Ty is HILARIOUS! They do look like they are trying to figure out what he is! :) So cute. I am so glad to hear he likes the blanket I made so much. Lance never got attached to any of the one's I made him so I'm glad someone has! :) That makes me feel special. I miss you guys so much! In the Halloween pick of all the kids Cole looks FREEZING! They all look super cute though! Glad you guys are doing good! HUGS!! Samantha
your children look like they are enjoying to move! Hope to see you again soon!
