We gave the girls a week off before they started at their new school. Here they don't have school boundaries, you just register, you can request but they ultimately place you where they have room. There are 3 elementary schools here and they only have 2-3 teachers each for K-6. So pretty small compaired to Bakersfield. So fare there curriculum seems to be on the same level as Cali if not a little more challenging for Gracie.

They go to North Elementary and Maddie's Teacher is Mr. Hemmingway and Gracie's Teacher is Mrs. Robertson. (her husband went to High School with Sheridan) Everyone know's who Sheridan mother is she teaches English at the Jr. High here. Gracie told me it was really weird that everyone knows who she is kind of. :)

Everyone is very nice, they had us come in last Friday for a tour of the school and the Principale Mr. Omen's wife used to babysit Sheridan's youngest sister Siarra.

So far the girls really like school and are making friends. Maddie told me there is a little boy in her clase that tells her she is "Beautiful" every day. LOL :) too cute!

On Monday evening (There first day of school) Maddie had her first school performance. The class had been learning some cute little songs that help them read and Maddie was able to perform in one of them.

Here is Mr. Hemingway and then Maddie's Song.

The girls also go to school an hour longer and don't get off the bus until 3:50. Long day but they enjoy it. It's too bad Cole isn't gone all day. He is having a little hard time while they are gone but as soon as they get home all 4 are outside playing. With plenty of room.

I've been telling everyone that Sheridan's parents have 1800 acres. Don't know where I came up with that number. I thought for sure that is what he told me. I was just a bit off, they actually have 24o still a TON!!

Anyhow that's it for now. I will try and keep you posted more often. We appreciate all the love and support from everyone and all the help!!!!!!!!!

how bizarre, you are finally there. That is great I am happy for you. Where are you living right now? Are you looking for a home to buy or what is your status there?
