It's OFFICIAL!!! Our house is on the market. So I guess we really are moving. YIKES!!! We signed the papers a couple of days ago and later that day I walked into my kitchen and it totally hit me. I was thinking "oh, my gosh we are selling our cute little house, I don't want to sell our house, I'm not moving, we are not selling this house" Ok so the moment only lasted for about 1 minute but it was a LONG minute.
I looked out the window today and there was this guy in my yard digging a post hole and I was like dude what are you doing, I barely caught myself before I opened the door to find out and realized that he was putting up our sale sign. Phew, glad I didn't yell at the poor guy. That would have been a great embarrassing moment.
This morning I received a call around 8 a.m. asking if it would be o.k. for someone to come and show the house between 1-2 this afternoon. Of coarse. So I got Cole off to pre-school and hurried home put Ty down for his nap, (yes he went down for a nap at 8:30, he had been up since 5:30).
I've been cleaning and de-cluttering for that last couple of weeks and just yesterday I had cleaned out the pantry and this morning was doing the linen closet. But you know you want your house perfect especially when strangers are coming to your home with out you there to explain certain things. :)
I still had things to clean, the shower, dusting, sweeping, and other odds and ends. Thank heavens Sheridan helped me clean up from yesterday after school children's messes. And more laundry that had to be done.
Ty was great and slept for three hours while I finished, we went and picked up Cole and came back ate lunch and left. At first I wanted to hang out and spy on who was coming to my home. But knew I could't do that for possibly an hour. Then I was like oh, I should take pictures of my clean house, for memories sake.
So here they are. Would you buy our house??
Our bedroom furniture is coming next week!!
Sorry that was a lot of pictures but hey I don't want to forget what my house looks/ed like. Especially when it is this clean. My kids are going to go crazy with me constantly telling them to clean up. We hope is sells in a couple months if not sooner. Who knows with the market the way it is now.

Great pictures. I have started taking pictures of my house whenever I really clean a room I go and grab my camera. I am sooooo sad you are leaving but am excited for your family. Don't forget about me.
James and I are so sad that you are moving. Your house is so cute. I have a hard time believing that your house would ever be dirty. I can't believe that you are moving so soon. How am I going to teach sining time without your?
when did you get a piano??? the house looks great. i would love to buy it if it wasn't in bakersfield. yucky-hot. bleu wants to move as soon as he comes home from training. probably closer to the airport where he might be working. who knows. i'm super excited to have you closer. it's great for the kids to be able to see gram n gramp nicholas more. good luck with moving and selling and buying!! have you started looking at houses in lander??
I would so buy your house Torrie. Maybe Jared and I will head back and take it! All those Thanksgiving memories flooded back when I saw your kitchen. Good luck, but I don't think you'll need it!
wow, it looks so great, i'm sure it's hard to keep clean. it is such a cute house, I hope it sells easy for you.

It looks really good:) You did great at STAGING your house. Have you ever watched HGTV? That is why I say STAGING, they have a staging series. Any way, I thought you said you had a keyboard? Your piano is cute. I hope you get a resonable offer on your house. love ya.
Wow, what a clean house....and with four kids! I know how hard it is to keep up on a house when it is on the market. It is horrible! Lucky you have lots of help.
Who's my help Jen? My kids Hahahaha. No actually they are doing really well with me bugging them all the time.
Looks absolutely perfect to me. No clutter and amazingly clean. I do hope it all goes well for you. We think of you guys often and wished we lived closer.
